Is Ebay Cheaper Than

Shopping-and-Product-Reviews There are many online shopping websites available at our convenience. Of these sites, only two easily .e to our minds’eBay and Amazon. eBay is an online auction and shopping website where people can buy and sell products worldwide. Amazon, on the other hand, is an e-.merce .pany and is one of the largest online retailers. These two have been forever .pared with each other, from the quality of the products they are selling, the customer service they provide, and the prices of their products, among others. Among these, as consumers, the most important thing for us is, of course, the range of prices that each of them offers. People might say that one could find in eBay and Amazon cheaper products as .pared to those offered by the rest of the online shopping websites. But among these two, which do you think provides greater purchasing power for our hard-earned money? When .paring Amazon and eBay prices, it is important that we take a look at a seller’s point of view. It is known that, although Amazon does not require its sellers to pay for listing fees, it, however, charges them a higher amount of .mission fees as .pared with eBay. You add to that the fact that Amazon has set shipping prices, which normally do not cover the actual shipping costs. eBay, on the other hand, allows its sellers to set their own shipping costs, and also allows sellers to add a handling fee if needed (especially for those products that need to be securely packaged). With these facts in mind, it is no wonder that a seller in Amazon would want to have all, if not at least a portion, of these fees they paid to the online retailer juggernaut back. This is one of the important reasons why, .pared with eBay, Amazon prices are higher. However, in a recent survey conducted by the website Jiffyprice.. (the survey was conducted from December 1, 2008 to December 15, 2008), it was shown that, by .paring eBay and Amazon, cheaper products, particularly electronic items such as Wii or Nintendo gaming consoles, were offered more by the latter (Nintendo DS Lite cost $175 on eBay, whereas it cost $126 on Amazon). Not all the results were in favor of Amazon, though, as there were some cheaper products found on eBay during the course of the study, among which are the Lacie 250-Gb Rugged Hard Drive (which cost $90.24 on eBay, while it cost $107.99 on Amazon) and the Wii Charge Station ($12.95 on eBay, $24.99 on Amazon). As for me, I think that, .pared to Amazon, eBay’s cheaper. This is because, geographically, the latter has a wider coverage. And with wider coverage .es more sellers and more products to offer, which, in turn, would mean that .petitive prices would be offered for these products, and we consumers will truly benefit from this. We must bear in mind that it is also important that we buyers have to .e up with a good strategy in finding in the websites of eBay and Amazon cheaper items. They are all just there I’m sure, waiting to be bought! About the Author: 相关的主题文章:
